About our special needs sanctuary

Our Passion

The team at Just Cats Rescue is dedicated to saving the lives of all felines, but we have a special place in our hearts for cats & kittens who are living with unique needs.

We recognize that, more often than not, special needs cats are euthanized in shelters due to lack of information, lack of funding, and lack of capacity. Due to this, we endeavor to assist any special needs cat in need of help in the upper-midwestern area.

Our Residents

One way we differ from other sanctuaries is that most of our sanctuary cats are available for adoption (except Jasper, he's here to stay).

We will update our site soon with more photos, but our current residents include:

Wobbles: Wobbles is a 2-year-old Black cat living with Cerebellar Hypoplasia
Jasper: Jasper is a 1-year-old paralyzed cat
Slick: Slick is a 3-year-old partially paralyzed cat
Petunia-6 Month old cat with Cerebelar Hypoplasia
Seal: 6 month old paralyzed kitten

We also have a ton of intakes coming up. Special needs babies joining our crew include:

Unnamed 8-week-old paralyzed kitten
Tamale: Approx 4-month-old paralyzed kitten with a broken pelvis
Litter of four kittens with Cerebellar Hypoplasia
Teeny-5 year old cat with Feline Hyperesthesia
